Singapore Food Festival 2012

The Singapore Food Festival 2012 is here again! Food lovers out there, starting from 14 July Saturday, head down to the Waterfront Promenade near Marina Bay Sands (behind the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands) to have yourselves a yummy seafood fiesta! The annual event had its opening on 14 July 2012, and had since drawn a 40,000 crowd. It will span over 9 days, ending on the 22nd July 2012. Featuring over 50 stalls, you get to taste from a myraid of local dishes including oyster omelette & chilli crabs, as well as international cuisines such as urchin-mago cheese mouse, squid ink meringe. There is also a spectacular highlight to this event – a Food Village that has a seating capacity of 1,500, and also a feature known as the Tiffin Cruise, where you are able to eat your food in tiffin carriers as you cruise along the Singapore River. Singapore Food Festival is supported by the Singapore Tourism Board.
