From November 29, 2024, to January 1, 2025, visitors of all ages can come together to create a snowy Singapore festive celebration. Christmas Wonderland 2024: What To Expect
As Christmas transforms the gardens into a luminous spectacle, the tropics are whimsically graced by magical ‘snowfall.’ Visitors will be enveloped by breathtaking feathery snowfall and get mesmerised by vibrant holiday lighting through the night. You’ll never have a dull moment in the Gardens as friendly Merry Bears greet you with festive cheer. Thrill-seekers can take a chance at carnival games, while talented local artistes light up the stage with heart-warming performances. As the evening unfolds, savor festive treats that further lift the spirits of the season.
Gardens by the Bay Christmas Wonderland 2024 Highlights:
The Magnificent Spalliera
The stunning 20-meter decorated Spalliera celebrates both tradition and innovation this year. Paying homage to classic Italian architecture, this piece of art features arches and columns adorned with thousands of LED lights. Designed to resemble a grand, illuminated castle, the Spalliera also comes with interactive lighting effects that respond to music in synchronised movements, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere for all ages.
Blizzard Time & Magic of Christmas Choral Music
The most anticipated highlight of Blizzard Time is the artificial snowfall spectacle. Visitors can experience the joy of snowflakes gently falling around them, occurring at regular intervals throughout the day. The Magic of Christmas Choral Music features live choir performances spreading holiday cheer through songs. Enjoy a mix of classic Christmas carols and modern holiday hits performed by local and renowned choirs.
Merry Lane
Merry Lane is a magical walkway, boasting an array of festive decorations and interactive twinkling displays, featuring Odette Dance’s elements inspired by the classic ballet “Swan Lake”. Stop by Santa’s Visit light display, where you can witness Father Christmas making his grand entrance from a chimney. This is a must-visit photo stop for you and your family and friends!
Santa’s Village (Santa’s Grotto)
Santa’s Village is a charming area featuring beautifully decorated huts that resemble a quaint, snowy village, where visitors can meet Santa Clause in the flesh. One gets to express their Christmas wishes and seize the opportunity to capture this special moment with a memorable photograph with Father Christmas himself.
Garden Rhapsody & Borealis Shows
Garden Rhapsody is a light and sound show that transforms the Supertree Grove into a dazzling visual display. The towering Supertrees come alive with a thousands of LED lights meticulously programmed to ‘dance’ along with a special selection of Christmas music mix of traditional and contemporary holiday tunes.
The Borealis show showcases a breathtaking symphony of colors that gracefully waltz across the sky, echoing the enchanting splendour of the aurora borealis. Visitors can influence the colors and patterns of the lights through the use of mobile apps for a personalised Northern Lights experience.
