New Shopping Malls in Singapore

Scotts Square Shopping Centre Singapore

Scotts Square Shopping Centre in Singapore is one of new shopping malls at Singapore’s prime shopping district, Orchard area. It is located at 6 Scotts Road, Singapore 228209.

Scotts Square opened in November 2011 and is developed by renowned developer Wheelock Properties known notably for their high end and luxury residential projects in prime districts in Singapore like the Ardmore Park locale such as Ardmore Two and the upcoming Ardmore Three, and iconic commercial properties like Wheelock Place since 1993 with its signature conical glass structure giving Orchard Road its distinctive turn on the road.

Spanning 75,000 sft, this mall may be smaller in retail floor space compared to its gigantic neighbours such as ION Orchard & Tangs, it has no lack of heavy weight tenants to offer to its shoppers. It houses fashion giant Hermes and and first Michael Kors boutique in Singapore. In addition, French label Ann Fontaine, known for their female signature white blouses, fashion house On Pedder that carry designer shoe collection from Alexander McQueen, Jimmy Choo, Alexander Wang, etc, and the Sincere Fine Watches Group flagship boutique, Leonard Paris, Paul and Joe, also made their presence at Scotts Square. High end furniture retailers Poltrana Frau and first timer in Singapore Gilt and Folly offer their exclusive furniture and furnishing collection at their flasgship boutiques on the third floor.

Restaurants of different types and scales are up for choices. Wild Honey, a much talked about all-day-breakfast restaurant first opened at Mandarin Gallery, opened their second outlet here at Scotts Square. Featuring European, English, Tunisian breakfasts all at one place, Wild Honey is a great choice for those who love all day breakfasts and brunches.

Just next to Wild Honey there is an authentic Japanese restaurant called Ginza Sushi Ichi, with a façade and entrance done exclusively with light wood chics and a narrow but nicely slate tiled doorway. Serving only fresh sashimi selections over the counter and to the few tables, the restaurant offers great exclusive selection of tempuras, soups, sushis & desserts.

Crystal Jade Kitchen, a well-known Chinese cuisine chain needs no further explanation why it occupies a fair share of space on the third floor boasting its extensive glass façade and see-through kitchen.

At basement level one there is a good mix of nice and cozy cafes, bakery, coffee joints & ramen house here. An all blue theme, Delicious Café offers a cozy and clean family dining ambience that is of a natural bird sanctuary feel. The café is of a nice sky blue, adorned with cages, tree branches and vertical wood twigs, Delicious Café serves a good range of reasonably priced western pastas and grills.

On the same floor, you may opt for a quick Japanese meal at Marukin Tokyo Ramen, or if you prefer to go light, you may pop by and soak in a little Parisian indulgence of coffee & sandwiches with Maison Kayser.
