Our featured Italian teacher is now based in Singapore. Being a native to Naples, the third largest municipal city of Italy, she was not only brought up with rich Italian culture & traditions, she also brings with her vast professional teaching experience and knowledge in Italian literature and linguistics back in Naples, Milan and also London in the UK. She is also experienced in teaching at corporate management level in various foreign corporations.

She is not only a post-graduate from University of Naples specializing in teaching Italian studies to foreigners, she also majors in modern literature, history, art, Italian language teaching throughout her years with the University Language Centre of Italian Institute of Philosophical Studies of Naples. Her highest qualification obtained is a Masters in Multimedia Management with the University of Milan, Italy.

Being a passionate traveler, she has grown to adapt to different countries and cultures in her course of work and has always remain open and dynamic in her ways of teaching. She now resides in Singapore, and because of her versatility & fun loving nature, she is happy to impart the Italian culture and language to this sunny island.

Besides being fluent in her mother tongue Italian, she is also proficient in both reading and writing English, French and Latin. She is able to conduct French and Latin classes upon requests.

Framework                                       : 1 unit of 6 X 120-minute lessons (12 hours minimally)

                                                            Half unit of 12 X 60-minute lessons (12 hours minimally)

                                                            A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, in line with CILS of the University of

                                                            Siena

 

Methodology                                    : CLT (Communicative Language Teaching), with a focus on

                                                            communications skills.

                                                            Grammar is not dealt with in a rigid manner, but as a useful

                                                            reference system for comprehending the linguistic

                                                            structures.

                                                            Authentic, real materials grammar books, Italian magazines,

                                                            newspapers and many personal materials

                                                            (audiovisual, laptop, worksheet) will be provided to make

                                                            lessons more communicative and interactive, as

                                                            well as exploring and implementing fresh and interesting

                                                            activities. 

                                                            First part of lesson involves the students to concentrate on

                                                            learning and applying linguistic structures and

                                                            functions in Italian. In the second part they will focus on the

                                                            conversational aspects of the Italian culture.

Mon – 8:30am to 11:30am | 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Tues – 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Wed, Thurs – 7:00pm to 9:00pm | 9:30pm to 11:30pm

Fri – 7:00pm to 9:00pm

Sat – Available throughout

Sun – 8:30am to 11:30am
