Hello Kitty Changi Airport has transformed into a Sanrio festive wonderland this holiday season! This November, Singapore celebrates Hello Kitty’s 50th Anniversary bash at our world renowned airport as the iconic feline turns the big 5-0.
From now till 16th February 2025, Changi Airport Terminal 3 features a whole host of fun stuff to do at the public space of Level 2, Departure Hall. Giant topiaries of Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll and more can be seen throughout the rest of the Terminals.

Cosmic Hydropark
Changi Airport’s inaugural indoor inflatable water park is another fun spot that offers some splashing good time! Cool yourselves down in this aquatic adventure and have a blast swooshing down those bouncy slides! The Cosmic Hydropark also features a kiddy pool so the little ones too can dip their tiny feet in! Skyline Luge Halloween – What goes up must come down
The wicked may rise, but the downfall is inevitable. There are two ways to reach the Skyline Luge tracks. One is to go from the top of the Skyride at (Imbiah Lookout Entrance), and ride in the luge cart to descend. The other is to take the Skyride (at Siloso Beach Entrance) up to the top of the Luge tracks and then ride the luge down.

The history of Mid-Autumn Festival Singapore 2024
Mid-Autumn Festival (the 15th of the 8th Lunar month), is also known as Mooncake Festival because of its custom of eating mooncakes during the Mid-Autumn celebration. originating from East Asia. The traditions of Mid-Autumn Festival is believed to have originated from East Asia, but have also spread to other parts of Asia over time, and is now celebrated amongst the South East Asian Chinese communities.
The mooncake is said to symbolise the full moon, which associates with reunion, harmony, and prosperity. It also marks the occasion’s significance for families to reunite and celebrate the harvest moon. Mooncakes are traditionally round pastries filled with lotus seed paste, red bean paste, or egg yolk. However, today’s modern adaptations of mooncakes come in snow skin and ice-cream variations with chocolate, truffle, mango and even durian fillings, etc.

Haw Par Villa (SG) Singapore, is a place of Asian cultural artistry, heritage and Chinese folklore. Once known as Tiger Balm Gardens, this outdoor cultural themed park was found by Aw Boon Haw, a Chinese businessman and philanthropist, who is also the founder of the famous Tiger Balm medical ointment together with his brother, Aw Boon Par.
Today, the Pasir Panjang Road Haw Par Villa 8.5-hectare park overarches more than 1,000 statues and 150 giant dioramas exposed to the elements, as well as an indoor museum that houses macabre untold tales. The outdoor gallery is open to the public for Free, while the Hell’s Museum requires an entrance fee (see below for ticket prices).
Haw Par Villa Hell’s Museum
Haw Par Villa Hell’s Museum opened in October 2021 and explores the concept of afterlife arising from traditional Chinese folk religions. The 10 Courts of Hell takes centre stage amongst the mythological displays in this paid area of exhibits. It takes you through the ten courts of hell, each depicting a level of hierarchical moral judgment and punishments. The karmic sins and consequential damnation detailed in the ten courts of Hell serve as a moral compass to guide individuals towards virtuous conduct and deterring them from acts of transgressions. The principles of cause-and-effects as well as justice and retributions are influenced by the beliefs and aligned with the teachings of Confucianism, Buddhism and Hinduism, as legend has it.

Sentosa Sensoryscape officially opened in March 2024 and serves as a free admission new point of interest for tourists and locals alike. This nighttime spectacle starts at 7:50 pm daily, and spans 350 meters long from Imbiah Station to Beach Station, both from which are the landmark’s entry points. The stroll along the leafy corridor opens up to three captivating chambers of light displays, each offering a different focus on stimulating our senses. Every one of these interactive alcoves features a semi-open woven cocoon in which your sense of touch, sight, scent or hearing is heightened and enraptured. The Tactile Trellis allows you to experience with scented, textured plant species, and motion sensors to “awaken” virtual forest animals. You’d need to download the ImagiNite app to be able to scan the QR code with your phone camera for some Augmented Reality (AR) fun in the Scented Sphere and Symphony Streams vivariums. You can spot many colourful simulated butterflies fluttering and underwater creatures swimming around you. Be sure to capture those magical moments with your phone camera. The Glow Garden is another charming spot you would not want to miss. Lined with soft glowing stalks of roses with changing hues, the Glow Garden is redolent of the Stairway to Eden and a romantic boulevard for lovebirds and dreamers.
